What is PAO oil?

Polyalphaolefin or PAO (Polyalphaolefin) is one of the most common synthetic base industrial oils used in industrial and automotive oils.

It is a synthetic hydrocarbon (SHC) that forms the best (branched) hydrocarbon structure found in mineral oils.

Properties of Polyalphaolefin Polyalphaolefin

It does not contain double bond ring structures, sulfur, nitrogen components or waxy hydrocarbons. The absence of these structures and materials results in a very non-polar base oil with a high viscosity index (approximately 130), excellent lubrication at low temperatures and drop point characteristics, good oxidation stability and compatibility with mineral oils, colors that They are usually found in the oil system. Because of their controlled structure, PAOs do not contain lighter and more volatile (smaller) hydrocarbons. This reduces their volatility, reduces hydrocarbon hydrogen emissions, and increases the flash point. PAOs are widely used in automotive fluids as well as hydraulic oils, gear and bearing lubricants, which are used in the environment. Very cold or hot applications work.

synthetic rubber

It was one of the first types of elastomer or synthetic rubber that was invented. This polymer is very similar to natural rubber, i.e. polyisoprene. It is an elastomer and this rubber is suitable for applications dealing with low temperatures. Car tires are often made of polybutadiene copolymers. Belts, hoses, gaskets and other car parts are also made of polybutadiene because it shows better resistance to low temperatures than other polymers. Many polymers become brittle at low temperatures as a result of a phenomenon called glass transition. Hard rubber, called polystyrene, polybutadiene or rubber, is a copolymer containing polybutadiene.

Application of Butadiene Rubber PBR

The high abrasion resistance and resistance to cracking of butadiene rubber has caused it to be used in most of the tire tread compounds. It is most widely used in the manufacture of tires for passenger cars, trucks and racing cars. Also, the tire tread is made of polybutadiene copolymers. It is used in the manufacture of shoes, belts and conveyor belts, rubber sponges, hoses and washers, butadiene rubber golf balls. will be In terms of price, this polymer is used to increase the concentration in industrial oils. The main use of this polymer is an alternative to EPDM. It is used to viscose industrial oils.
