This situation is while the reserves of Tehran's water supply dams have decreased by 30 million cubic meters compared to last year, and the stable supply of Tehran's water until the end of the water year (beginning of autumn) and the beginning of the rains is a worrying concern that can only be overcome with the participation of citizens and a reduction of at least 10% in consumption. ️

Confirming the record-breaking water consumption in Tehran, the Tehran Province Water and Sewerage Company announced: "Citizens of Tehran are requested to prevent water wastage by managing water consumption and taking some simple measures, such as fixing possible leaks in water coolers, avoiding unnecessary washing, technical inspections of connections and building water pipes, etc."

Currently, the five dams of Tehran province have 547 million cubic meters of water, which shows a decrease of 31 million cubic meters compared to the previous year, which was 578 million cubic meters.

The normal reservoir volume of Tehran's five dams should be 915 million cubic meters until the end of July, which comparing the current year's reservoir volume with the normal year also shows a decrease of 368 million cubic meters in Tehran's dam reservoirs.
